As a future Revenue and Cost Assistant Accountant, you will report to our Head Of Net Revenue Accounting & Analysis, and you will be part of AXA IM General Secretary. DISCOVER your opportunity Responsible for contributing to the efficiency and operational effectiveness of Revenue processes in the UK and providing support to the Banking and Accounts Payable activity. Including accurate and complete recording of costs and adherence to CASS rules. Your role and responsibilities will include: Support the revenue processing and reporting activities, including: Liaise with the Legal department to review and sign off on Investment Management Agreements Support in changes to fee schedules, rebates and fee sharing process, ensuring the various teams involved have applied the changes appropriately Support the preparation of the commentary and analysis on assets and revenues to support the internal and external reporting requirements Support for the preparation of the Assets Under Management reporting Develop and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, such as Client Services, Client Relationship Managers, Operational Risk, etc. Assist the local MI and FA teams with analysis / commentaries for the local management reporting for the Management Committee and Board meetings Be aware of Client Money Rules and its impact on the operational tasks, ensuring there are no CASS breaches Assist in peer-to-peer reviews Contribute to the improvement of revenue processes, in the context of enhanced automation Enforce existing controls and assist in the implementation of the new Risk Control Framework Work closely with the Paris Revenue team to standardise processes & controls across various geographies Assist with Audit queries as and when required Perform ad-hoc duties as required by the Head of Net Revenue Accounting & Analysis Support the control the banking processes including: Accurately inputting daily electronic bank payments into our online banking tools within agreed deadlines. Monitor bank and money market fund accounts' balances for UK entities ensuring that threshold balances are maintained, preparing daily & weekly cash flow forecasts and banking reports. Accurately posting and matching cash journals as required within the general ledger (Coda) including interest and other journals. Assist with the maintenance of the internal bank mandate management. Support for the efficient and timely payment and processing of invoice and expenses including: Ad-hoc processing of supplier invoices within the Coda procurement tool and ledger in line with Finance standards. Process all journals in an accurate and timely manner regarding manual banking, FX and cheque payments. Promptly with relevant description. Generate weekly supplier and expense payment runs (utilising Connexis, ITESOFT & RBS loader) Produce and monitor the trade creditor aging report weekly and also the staff expense payments daily. Investigate and resolve queries and any aged balances in creditor accounts on both invoices and expenses in a timely manner, obtaining approvals for invoices and purchase orders, liaising professionally and clearly with suppliers and employees as appropriate. Document reasons for non-payment of any aged invoices and escalate items outside of SLA. Provide training on Concur and Coda Procurement to business and assist with issue resolution. Support for other accounts payable duties as required. Your Profile SHARE your unique expertise We welcome different combinations of skills & experiences. Your qualifications and experience: GCSE A levels or AAT Foundation Level Previous experience in a large FS firm, Investment Management would be an advantage Online banking systems CASS knowledge is beneficial Some knowledge of revenues and assets under management Your knowledge and skills: Good level of accuracy, numeracy, and accounting knowledge Proficient system skills including MS Excel, and preferably Coda, RBS Bankline, HSBC.net and Connexis Strong attention to detail Ability to work under deadline pressure and to successfully resolve conflicting priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work unsupervised Strong team player - collaborative, flexible and adaptable with a 'can do attitude' We would love to know more about you.
