IT Services organisation is hiring for a 2nd Line System Support Specialist to join their team in Bracknell. This role requires 5 days onsite, and the salary ranges between £28K - £35K + Bonus + Benefits. SC Clearance is required for this role and due to the nature of the projects, you will need to be a Sole British citizen to be eligible for this.
As a 2nd Line System Specialist, you'll be responsible for handling and resolving technical escalations raised via the Service Desk. Working within a small but skilled team, you'll provide 1st and 2nd line support, escalating to 3rd line when required, and continuously monitor live events to ensure a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and resolve escalated technical incidents and service requests
- Monitor live environments and respond to issues in real time
- Collaborate with 1st line and 3rd line teams to ensure smooth resolution paths
- Deliver excellent customer support with a professional and proactive approach
Skills required:
- Proven experience in a 2nd Line Support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10 operating systems
- Hands-on experience with ITSM tools including SCSM, SCCM, and SCOM
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2016
- Experience working with VMware desktop and server solutions
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and customer service skills
