We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in the Glasgow Internal Audit department. This role will provide audit coverage for the Investment Management division.
In the Internal Audit division, we provide senior management an objective and independent assessment of the Firm's internal control environment for risk management and governance. This is an Associate position within the Investment Management Audit team, which is responsible for inspecting controls across teams globally.
What you’ll do in the role:
1. Execute a wide range of assurance activities (e.g., audits, continuous monitoring, closure verification).
2. Understand and adopt new audit tools and techniques.
3. Develop clear and concise messages regarding risk and business impact within relevant coverage area.
4. Identify and leverage data to incorporate into analysis of coverage area.
5. Collaborate with a wide range of internal stakeholders to build effective working relationships and to execute on team deliverables.
6. Effectively manage multiple deliverables while delivering high-quality work.
What you’ll bring to the role:
1. At least 2 years’ relevant internal audit experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
2. Investment management experience would be desirable for this role.
3. Understanding of audit principles, tools and processes (e.g., risk assessments, planning, testing, reporting and continuous monitoring).
4. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and adapt messages to audience.
5. Ability to identify patterns and anomalies in data.
6. A commitment to practicing inclusive behaviours.
7. Willingness to solicit and provide feedback to further develop self and peers.
