Water Hygiene Engineers required in Sheffield/South Yorkshire to work across several national contracts providing inspections, testing, and some remedial works to sites as per the client requirements and instructions.
Water Hygiene Engineer Benefits:
1. Salary: £28,000 to £33,500 DOE
2. Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Water Hygiene Engineer Duties:
1. Carrying out compliance checks as per contract requirements, including but not limited to water hygiene monitoring, water assets descale and chlorination, emergency lights testing, and fire extinguisher service and inspection.
2. Provide technical advice to clients on the works being carried out where required.
3. The role will involve working in a multi-site capacity.
4. The site surveys will be undertaken using a hand-held device.
5. Carry out legionella compliance tasks in accordance with ACoP-L8 and HSG274.
6. Ensuring all data is correctly presented, meaning surveyors' paperwork and photographs are checked prior to entry.
7. There is a requirement for some travel, which may involve working away from home (accommodation and food allowance will be paid for by the company).
8. Report any problems with the data to the Head of Water Compliance.
9. Report any problems with the software to the Head of Water Compliance.
10. To achieve personal appraisal targets, as agreed by the Line Manager.
11. To carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with the company's Health and Safety Policy and relevant Health and Safety legislation.
12. At all times to carry out responsibilities/duties within the framework of the organisation.
Water Hygiene Engineer Qualifications & Skills Required:
1. Demonstrate previous experience in providing surveys and inspection within workplace health and safety compliance.
2. Legionella risk assessor trained preferred (this will attract the higher salary bracket).
3. Demonstrate ability to work alone in a multi-site capacity, working to strict quality control systems and operational procedures.
4. IT skills (Excel, data management software).
5. Ensure to develop any knowledge and skills within the field.
6. Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points.
