Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager / Financial Controller to join our team, focusing on the Data Centre sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction finance and be adept at managing financial operations across the UK and Europe. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent team management skills and a keen eye for detail. Manage VAT compliance and reporting for the UK and Ireland. Handle payroll processes for the UK and Ireland. Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs. Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting processes. Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring high performance and professional development. Ensure compliance with RCT (Relevant Contracts Tax) and CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) regulations. Essential Criteria Proven experience in construction finance. In-depth knowledge of VAT regulations in the UK and Ireland. Proficiency in managing payroll for the UK and Ireland. Strong experience in preparing monthly management accounts and reporting packs. Expertise in budgeting and forecasting. Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a finance team. Familiarity with RCT and CIS regulations. Cashflow forecasting and FX hedging. Desirable Criteria Experience in European construction finance. Knowledge of VAT regulations across Europe. Experience in managing payroll across Europe.
