The Transformation Team is looking for a skilled Senior Advisor to join their team, based in Coventry or Liverpool.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Leading projects with manufacturing clients at their site(s).
2. Running client discovery workshops to identify and explore relevant information.
3. Scoping out potential opportunities for the deployment of manufacturing best practice and technology application.
4. Evaluating opportunities to define work packages with clear value propositions.
5. Running workshops to identify suitable technology opportunities to support strategic growth.
6. Developing pilot programmes for technology projects, which may include planning for technology selection.
7. Technical leadership of client-facing projects, including the leadership of project teams comprising engineers from across the Industrial Transformation Group, including Business, Digital, Automation, Technology Transformation, and MTC Technology Groups (i.e., Advanced Production Systems (APS), Digital Engineering (DE), Component Manufacturing Technologies (CMT), and AMTC Future Skills team).
8. Training, being approved, and acting as a Technical Governor on nominated projects.
9. Supporting the Technology Groups in work packages to develop the technology solutions.
10. Performing technical and administrative roles to ensure effective delivery of MTC’s business.
Person Specification
Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience
The Senior Advisor will be involved in guiding MTC customers in the application of manufacturing best practice and technology and shall have a strong working knowledge of the following:
1. Business/manufacturing improvement techniques e.g., value stream mapping, process mapping, lean techniques.
2. Manufacturing operational efficiency improvement methods e.g., flow and layout.
3. Business process re-engineering for innovation.
4. Leadership and change management.
5. Coaching and mentoring for performance improvement.
6. Supply chain assessments and strategy.
7. Microsoft Office 365 product set.
