To support the team to create and monitor yearly, monthly and daily cash forecasts for our Departmental clients’ cash flows to HM Treasury (HMT) accurately to minimise HMT penalties and maximise HMT rebates.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare the annual, monthly and daily cash forecasts that are submitted to HMT.
* Authorise BACS payments.
* Prepare the commercial bank account quarterly exercise for clients.
* Update forecasting spreadsheet.
* Confirm critical payments and receipts.
* Prepare outturns and download bank statements.
* Bank reconciliations for our clients and resolve queries.
To do this role well you will:
* Be educated to GCSE level, including Mathematics and English or equivalent.
* Demonstrable cash management and bank reconciliation experience.
* Strong Excel, ideally to macro level.
* Proven experience of interpreting and presenting financial data.
* Any previous experience of Oracle, Workday or similar ERP system will be highly advantageous.
* Experience of working in a busy administration service environment, preferably in a shared services or similar environment.
* First class communication skills and the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Proven track record of operating to tight timescales and SLA’s.

To be considered, you will need to successfully obtain BPSS before commencing the role, obtaining clearance usually takes 5-10 working days.
UKSBS does not hold a Home Office Sponsor Licence under the UK Immigration System, therefore applicants must have eligibility to live and work in the UK at application stage.
Working pattern:
We work a mixture of full and part time hours across a 37hr week with varying working patterns.
