Position Overview: Our Client seeks an experienced MEP UK Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and enhance its quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, particularly in large-scale subcontracting environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and policies for MEP projects.
2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
3. Collaborate with project teams to identify quality risks and develop mitigation plans.
4. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for quality-related issues.
5. Train and mentor staff on quality assurance best practices and procedures.
6. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project specifications are met.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role within the MEP sector, particularly with large subcontractors.
2. In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, construction processes, and relevant quality standards.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
5. Relevant qualifications (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) are a plus.
