Adam Samuel Recruitment is looking for a Registered Manager/Hospital Manager (Nurse Qualified) – Complex Nursing Home (Dual-Site, 100 Beds)
We are seeking a highly experienced and clinically skilled Registered Manager (RGN/RMN) to oversee the operations of two complex nursing home sites, covering a total of 100 beds. This role requires a strong clinical background, leadership expertise, and a proven ability to manage referrals, quality assurance, and compliance while ensuring outstanding resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership & Operational Management: Provide strategic and operational leadership across both nursing homes, ensuring safe, high-quality, and person-centered care.
* Clinical Excellence & Governance: Oversee the clinical governance framework, ensuring high standards of care, robust auditing, and regulatory compliance.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure both sites meet and exceed CQC standards, maintaining at least a “Good” rating and striving for “Outstanding.”
* Referrals & Occupancy Management: Build strong relationships with NHS, CCGs, local authorities, and hospitals to drive referrals and maintain optimal occupancy.
* Staff Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop nurses, carers, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
* Safeguarding & Risk Management: Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), ensuring robust safeguarding, infection control, and medication management procedures.
* Financial & Budgetary Control: Oversee budgets, cost management, and financial performance while ensuring high standards of care delivery.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with families, healthcare professionals, and commissioning bodies.
* Service Improvement & Innovation: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring best practices and evidence-based care models are implemented.
Essential Requirements:
* Active NMC Registration (RGN or RMN) – A valid Nursing PIN is essential.
* Minimum 5 years of senior management experience within a complex nursing home or healthcare setting.
* Proven experience in referrals management, NHS and local authority partnerships, and occupancy optimisation.
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, clinical governance, safeguarding, and infection control policies.
* Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to oversee multi-site operations.
* Experience in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimisation within a nursing home environment.
