We’re also at forefront of using new technology, creating cutting-edge solutions that leverage AI. We're currently looking for a primarily back-end developer who can enhance the skills and capabilities of the team, helping us to make a real difference for our customers and colleagues. In This Role, You Will Improve the council’s websites and digital services. Drive digital transformation projects to boost efficiency and improve customer experience. Work with external suppliers to meet our digital objectives. Create solutions leveraging artificial intelligence and large language models. Offer expert advice on digital best practices and stay up-to-date with industry trends. To Excel In This Role, You Should Have Experience with server-side JavaScript and ideally Node.js. Strong API integration skills. Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Familiarity with low-code form-building platforms. An ability to communicate complex information clearly to non-technical audiences.
