About the role
Short term contract (2-4 weeks) for a Product Pentester to evaluate and pen test software and operating system hosted locally on a PC. The software forms part of a medical device used in Radiotherapy, although medical device experience is not necessary. To create a penetration and analysis report compliant with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities will include:
1. Grey box penetration testing.
2. Identify and exploit vulnerabilities to assess security risks.
3. Communicating with Product Information Security Officer regarding any security issues and identification of solutions.
4. Collaborate with developers and security team to remediate discovered vulnerabilities.
5. Develop detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
6. Justification for acceptance of low risk vulnerabilities.
Essential Skills & Experience
1. > 5 year experience of penetration testing.
2. Report writing.
3. Analysis and solutions for vulnerabilities.
Desirable Skills & Experience
1. Industry standard qualifications and experience.
