Charity People are thrilled to be partnering with a highly successful London based University to find them an ambitious Development Manager (focusing on Major Gifts). Reporting to the Head of Development, you will work alongside a strong team of people who have a strong work ethic and are excited for the next part of the journey. The department has recently gone through evaluation, and there is real strategic importance to embed a new three-year strategy for the Development Team with a big focus on major gifts and philanthropy, making this a pivotal role for the University.
The Development Manager (Major Gifts) role would suit someone with experience from higher education philanthropy, with a track record of securing four-figure gifts, as well as possessing excellent relationship management skills. You will engage with alumni, trustees, corporates, and others to garner their support. Your responsibilities will include maintaining good relationships with existing high-value donors through strong communication and stewardship to keep audiences engaged with an entrepreneurial and creative approach. This is a great opportunity to make your mark and elevate the team’s success in 2025 and beyond.
Benefits: 35 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays), discounts via Perks at Work, access to discounted courses across the University and LinkedIn learning, and more.
Please send your CV without delay.
