The practice are seeking a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join their team. With a full-time working pattern of 4 weekdays per week and a 1 in 4 weekend rota, this role provides a great work-life balance and the opportunity to make a real impact in a close-knit practice.
What You'll Do:
* Deliver exceptional care to our patients and clients.
* Assist with surgeries and procedures, managing pre- and post-operative activities.
* Lead nurse appointments and schedule 3 activities.
* Provide top-tier patient monitoring and care.
* Oversee admissions and discharges as part of the veterinary team.
* Manage patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care facilities.
* Dispense and check medication accurately.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and operational standards.
* Lead team briefings to support the smooth running of the practice.
Skills and Experience:
* RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
* Proven experience in delivering excellent patient and client care.
* Strong team player, with experience in supporting nurse consultations.
* Confident in coaching and influencing colleagues to bring out the best in the team.
