About the Role: As the HR Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our client’s operations, partnering closely with the Founders to support their ambitious growth plans. This role requires someone who can think strategically but also has the practical skills to manage day-to-day HR functions. Key Responsibilities: HR Strategy Development : Collaborate with the Founders to design and implement a people strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives and values. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding : Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing and screening to onboarding, to ensure a seamless candidate and new joiner experience. Employee Engagement & Retention : Lead initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment, ensuring employees feel valued and supported. Performance Management : Design and implement performance review processes, providing guidance to managers and employees to drive continuous improvement. Policy Development : Establish and maintain HR policies and practices that support compliance and reflect the company’s ethos. HR Operations : Handle the day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, payroll coordination, and benefits administration. Who They’re Looking For: Our client is looking for a self-starter with a solid HR background in fast-moving environments, ideally in the tech industry. You’ll need a genuine interest in fostering a supportive and high-performing culture and be comfortable working closely with leadership in a standalone capacity. Requirements: Proven experience in a standalone HR Manager role or similar. Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices. Experience in a tech startup or similar high-growth environment.
