Gleeson Recruitment Group as working in partnership with a high-growth PE backed business in the Black Country, who are looking to appoint a Group FP&A Manager in a newly created position.
The Role:
As the Group FP&A Manager, you will report directly to the CFO and take ownership of all group-level financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. This role is central to driving business insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring robust financial management across the organisation. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, and work closely with various departments to deliver high-quality financial analysis and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the group-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
Deliver insightful financial analysis and reporting to the executive team, providing actionable recommendations to support strategic initiatives.
Develop and enhance financial models to evaluate business performance and guide decision-making.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide variance analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Coordinate and consolidate financial information from regional and departmental teams.
Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence and integration planning, as required.
Partner with business leaders to evaluate investments, projects, and operational initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
About You:
You are a results-driven finance professional with exceptional analytical skills and a passion for driving business performance. Your expertise in FP&A and ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders will set you apart. To succeed in this role, you will need:
A recognised professional finance qualification - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
Proven experience in FP&A, preferably within a multinational or complex organisational environment.
Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive and strategic mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo.
Experience with financial systems and tools (e.g., Hyperion, SAP, Power BI) is an advantage.
