About the role
As Trade Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing strategy through the development, implementation & review of best-in-class activation, across the Convenience channel.
On a day-to-day basis, you will act as the marketing conduit between our commercial teams and our customers, providing information, materials and support on key brands.
You will be integral within the wider Marketing function, being seen as
The voice of Convenience, ensuring that you have suitable, tailored plans to execute across relevant media channels, markets and consumers. This will include wholesale, symbol & independent retailers, as well as the end consumer.
In this role, there will be the opportunity to become a strong influencer and to drive key stakeholder management, across the organisation for your plans. You will set high expectations for yourself and ensure a continuous improvement mindset, which benefits not only your channel, but the wider Trade Marketing/Marketing function.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide day-to-day marketing support for your channel (internal & external).
Bring our brand plans to life through the development and implementation of in market activation.
Own the planning process between regional brand, category development and sales, for the sector.
Understand the business and the drivers and levers of performance; take the lead in course correction when necessary
Use shopper insights to effectively plan and evaluate shopper marketing activities.
Update key documents that support the planning, execution and review of Trade Marketing activity.
Liaise with relevant marketing agencies to create artwork briefs and develop point-of-sale materials, as well as developing customer/channel/market specific activation.
Support the creation of sell-in presentations & other materials required for customer meetings.
Manage and optimise A&P investment across the sector to drive results, with accountability for delivering YOY increases in A&P effectiveness through a rigorous review process
Attend customer meetings, when applicable.
Work cross-functionally, to build strong relationships with both internal & external stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities
Project work specific responsibilities as determined by the Head of Trade Marketing. As a Trade Marketing Manager, you will be expected to lead projects, as well as providing support on others.
What youll bring:
Education: Bachelors Degree, preferred, but not required.
Qualifications: WSET Level 2 or higher; preferred, but not required.
Experience: 3+ years business experience. In depth understanding, knowledge and practical experience in Trade Marketing.

UK travel as and when required to customer locations.
Hybrid working 2 days a week at the Weybridge office.
