Location: Staines County Court TW18 1XH (NOTE THIS IS A MOJ ROLE)
Team Overview: The Civil Service HR Casework Service (CS HR Casework Service) is responsible for delivering HR Casework for small and medium-sized Government Departments. The Service provides professional advice and guidance on employment law, HR policy, and non-transactional processes to managers for cases/queries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a portfolio of HR cases where face-to-face and remote intervention is required.
* Providing advice and guidance adhering to employment law and policies.
* Coaching managers to improve their competence in managing cases.
* Delivering a high-quality service to all parties involved in an HR case.
* Accurately recording and providing management information as required.
* Supporting a culture of continuous improvement within HR.
* HR Advisory or relevant knowledge with proven experience of managing HR cases.
* Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and via telephone.
* Ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders.
* Demonstrating personal development and increasing capability.
* Working to deadlines, especially in the Employment Tribunal context.
* Good level of computer literacy in Microsoft applications.
* Knowledge of employment law.
* CIPD qualification or willingness to work towards one.
