Description As an experienced professional in Business Analysis, you'll shape the technology solutions that drive strategic initiatives across the firm. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you'll interact with colleagues in various lines of businesses to learn about challenges and opportunities, and translate that insight into high-quality solutions. In addition to working with the development team to create new solutions, you'll help optimize existing technology and identify new capabilities. While your role requires deep technological skills – including expertise in everything from data management to functional design – it also hinges on teamwork and leadership. You'll offer clear guidance and feedback to your Business Analysis colleagues, while promoting the values, culture, and brand of JPMorgan Chase & Co. The goal of Digital Document Services (DDS) is to provide solution and associated services for creation, capture, storage, retention, search and retrieval of document data and related artifacts & documents. These data are about client identification, relationships, products and transactions and pertains to corporate business. The overall Platform provides solutions towards content capture and management of structured and unstructured data including storage and management of images and provides comprehensive search technology across the firm. Job responsibilities: Requirement Elicitation and Analysis: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges. Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows. Solution Design: Collaborate with technology teams to design solutions that meet business needs. Propose innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges. Ensure that proposed solutions align with the organization's strategic goals and technological capabilities. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to various audiences. Documentation: Create detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Assist in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or deviations from the plan. Quality Assurance: Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutions. Ensure that delivered solutions meet the specified requirements and are of high quality. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency enhancement. Recommend process improvements and assist in their implementation. Required qualifications, capabilities and skills Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus). Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation. Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development lifecycle. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of relevant tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel, Powerpoint and Word etc. Hand on with Agile Methodology and ceremonies – Ability to write analysis stories Working experience - Data analysis, Reporting and MIS reporting Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is advantageous.
