Due to continued growth and desire to keep growing we are looking for an ambitious and forward-thinking Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk on a full-time basis.

About the role:
In this Technical Sales Engineer role, you will use your technical understanding and commercial acumen to drive sales, develop leads, and nurture relationships with clients. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a rapidly expanding sector and contribute to the transformation of client experiences with our cutting-edge geotechnical solutions. This role is UK based, and full-time hours are typically 9am-5.30pm (with a flexible working policy in place). The role is offered as both a fully in-person or hybrid role with on average 3 days a week in the office.
Day-to-day duties will include:
Manage and support customer inquiries to ensure comprehensive and proactive service.
Balance your time effectively with a 30/70 split between business and account development and quoting.
Provide timely updates on opportunities, territories, and customer engagements.
Develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing clients.
Utilise CRM/Sales Software (Salesforce) to manage client interactions and sales processes efficiently.
Generate compelling offers tailored to client needs.
Continuous spotting and developing new opportunities to drive growth.
About you:
You will have proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the B2B sector. You will have previous experience working in a related industry or sensor-based industry. You will possess a solid understanding of sales principles and customer service, and you’re always willing to expand your knowledge. With a proactive attitude and a strong sense of accountability, you believe in the importance of your work and its impact on our clients and the environment.
