What can I expect?
Working within a well established 9-figure operation - You'll be working with major retailers and other big name customers to build relationships, drive sales and improve service on significant commercial accounts.
What do I need?
You'll need a sound foundation in a commercial/account management function within the FMCG industry and be keen to develop your career in commercial account management.
Coming from a sales, marketing or procurement background, you'll have lots of transferable skills to set you up for success. You'll also need an enquiring mind and a fastidious attention to detail.
Be willing to engage and take on responsibility - this role would suit those looking to take their career to new levels.
Tell me more about the job
Building customer relations and identifying new sales opportunities within existing accounts will be the core of what you can expect to be doing day to day. You will assist and eventually own management of key accounts with the major grocery retailers.
Beyond that:
1. Manage the customer relationships and P/L account in respect of your portfolio/category of products.
2. Ensure strong relationships with the procurement team to ensure accurate margin forecasts, high quality and strong inbound performance.
3. Manage the marketing and sales of a portfolio of products. This portfolio will change from time to time depending on supply windows and new product developments. Ensure the key category objectives set by your line manager are achieved.
