Job Description Field Service Engineer Do you have a strong Electrical bias? Do you have experience in servicing and maintaining machinery? We are working with a market leader in machinery manufacturing, and they now need to grow their service team with a Field Service Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for ideally an apprentice trained engineer who is passionate about solving client issues and is excited at the prospect of working across a range of industries across the country. Job Responsibilities UK and Ireland service and repair of machinery across a range of industries Conduct routine and preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and perform repairs on a wide variety of machinery and equipment. Offer on-site technical support and training to help customers understand and operate machinery effectively Accurately document service activities, including work orders, service reports, and customer feedback Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards while performing service tasks on-site Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly and effectively Manage workload effectively, balancing multiple service requests while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Person Specification You recognised engineering apprenticeship would be beneficial Previous experience within field-based servicing is essential You must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to build relationships Ideally you will have an electrical bias Hours, Pay, and Benefits Up to £45,000 per annum Monday to Thursday – 07:30am to 05:00pm Friday – 07:30am to 11:30am Overtime paid at x1.5 over a 40-hour week (x2 on Sundays) OTE £60,000 All hours are paid from the moment your leave your house until you return home - this includes flights Company vehicle
