We are currently looking for a Hospitality Chef to work with our integral team at Six Hills Way, Stevenage, SG1 2DA Perks of the job £27,000 per year Full time – 40 hours per week Monday – Friday, 7am – 3.30pm Excellent training opportunities including apprenticeship schemes and e learning courses Free meals and parking on site Free uniform and safety shoes provided NEST pension contribution and Life assurance Generous holiday allowance which increases after 3 full years of service – you can even opt to buy additional days Cycle to work / Refer a friend scheme A wide range of perks including MyStaffShop discounts (save money on your weekly supermarket shop), Nest pension, Life assurance, online e-learning and much more What you'll be doing ⦁ Produce and cook food in line with recipe cards. ⦁ Work in line with company allergen policy ⦁ Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch, hospitality lunches, food for the coffee bar and retail shop ⦁ Full knowledge of all menu items served. ⦁ Deep cleaning of the kitchen area ⦁ Assisting with deliveries and stock rotation ⦁ Management of production to ensure minimal wastage. ⦁ Maintenance of food levels throughout all service periods ⦁ Ensuring the maintenance of high hygiene and health and safety standards in line with Aramark requirements and identify any anomalies and incidents. ⦁ Assisting in the compilation of all shifts opening and closing checklists Experience Relevant culinary qualification or at least 2 years experience in a similar position Experience working in a kitchen at a chef level Allergen awareness (i.e Natasha’s Law), full training will be given Excellent team player and communicator MBDA security vetting process
