The post is based at our new Midland Metropolitan University Hospital site and provides 30 intensive care beds. Comprehensive role specific training will be provided within the department and this will be supported by a competency package and robust mentorship. We welcome applications from suitably experienced and level 2 qualified who would be willing to undertake the Level 3 Healthcare Support Worker qualification during employment Main duties of the job The main duties will be to assist and support the nursing team in the delivery of safe care to the acutely ill and/or rehabilitating critical care patient. Alongside promoting infection control practices and assisting in equipment and stock utilisation. Please note that the post-holder must be motivated and enthusiastic and have experience in an acute hospital health care role.
