The Role of Apprentice Depot Administrator:
This role offers the right candidate an excellent opportunity to start a career path within Administration and/or the Plant Hire Industry. Working from our Dundee Depot and reporting directly to the Depot Manager, you will work to gain the skills, experience and knowledge required to achieve a Modern Apprenticeship SCQF Level 6 Business & Administration. As an Apprentice Depot Administrator, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of administrative support tasks to assist in the day-to-day operations of our depot. You will liaise closely with the workshop team, suppliers and customers to ensure that all administrative tasks are completed timely, efficiently and effectively and in line with our high standards of customer care. The key learning/job task areas for our new apprentice will include the following:
* Learn and undertake the skills required to be confident and competent in providing effective support to the depot manager throughout the end to end hire process
* Complete all theoretical work requested by your training provider and seek assistance when required
* You will learn and undertake the skills required to communicate effectively with suppliers and customers
* You will develop the skills to ensure that all administrative tasks are completed in line with company standards.
* Overtime you will continue to gain and expand your product knowledge of our hire fleet and accessories
* You will receive training and support in the use of software and systems appropriate to the job tasks
* You will gain the skills and confidence required to handle complaints and provide feedback in a professional manner to our customers
* You will effectively and professionally resolved customer queries in a timely and satisfactory manner.
* Continually develop and maintain relationships with Operational teams to ensure close working dynamics.

* Confidence with interpersonal communication with an ability to communicate clearly, concisely and with the appropriate tone
* Strong attention to detail
* A great team player
* A understanding of the importance of organising, prioritising job tasks with the ability to time manage multiple tasks
* Be competent in the use of PC and Microsoft office/outlook
* Understanding of business etiquette and protocols
* Willingness to learn and to achieve results
