As one of Scotland's leading foodservice wholesalers delivering ambient, chilled, and frozen goods all over Scotland, we pride ourselves in supplying a wide range of high-quality products for all types of caterers. Your duties and responsibilities include, but are not restricted to the following areas of business:
1. Outbound calls to Turkish restaurants/takeaways for a schedule for their weekly orders.
2. Monitor emails to ensure that customer orders are picked up and processed on our software, ensuring that orders are then passed to the warehouse team for picking and loading onto vehicles.
3. Build strong relationships with customers who use the out-of-hours service, providing an excellent customer service experience at every opportunity through timely responsiveness, courteousness, and proactive problem-solving.
4. Complaints management: ensure that any customer complaints are responded to in a timely manner and corrective actions are taken to minimize disruption/impact. Review the issue raised and identify solutions to mitigate reoccurrence.
5. Printing picking sheets for back-shift.
6. Dealing with payment and statement queries.
7. Check all paperwork returned from the warehouse team to ensure that it is completed accurately and all present.
8. Answering incoming calls.
9. Filing of paperwork.
10. Any other additional tasks or administrative duties as requested by management.
11. Maintain high standards of health & safety, hygiene, and security in the workplace at all times.
Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 10am to 7pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
