We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our Infrastructure Water team in Cambridge.
Join Skanska and contribute to a groundbreaking project in the water sector. This project aims to deliver a state-of-the-art facility on a green field site, pushing the boundaries of technology, effluent quality, and carbon reduction. With high environmental ambitions and a substantial biodiversity net gain (BNG) target, this role is critical to the project's success.
What you'll do:
* Work with providers of innovative technologies and products, whether Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) or Civil Engineering.
* Develop or execute procurement strategies in accordance with the design, depending on the timing of the hire.
* Ensure alignment with sustainability goals, programme adherence, and achievement of agreed operational parameters.
* Manage stakeholder relationships with the design and engineering team to mitigate the impact of design changes on the procurement process.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Strong understanding of NEC 3 ECC Suite of Contracts.
* Experience in managing procurements with interdependent variables.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in using Oracle Cloud ERP or similar systems.
