We are working with a leading enforcement agent who are seeking a Bid Writer. They are dedicated to assisting clients in the recovery of outstanding debts through professional and ethical practices.
The role is looking to pay up to £40,000 dependant on experience, hybrid with occasional travel to their head office in Staffordshire.
Job Summary:
As a Bid Writer, you will be an integral part of the bids team, responsible for preparing and submitting high-quality bids and proposals to secure contracts and funding for our enforcement operations. Your role will involve researching opportunities, writing compelling content, and coordinating with various departments to ensure our submissions are competitive and compliant with all requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Research and identify relevant bid opportunities that align with the agency's goals and capabilities.
* Write, edit, and proofread bid proposals, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and persuasiveness.
* Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and input for bid submissions.
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of bid documents, templates, and past submissions.
* Ensure all proposals comply with the client's specifications and submission guidelines.
* Manage the bid submission process, including timelines, deadlines, and follow-up actions.
* Analyse feedback from bid submissions to improve future proposals and increase success rates.
* Stay updated on industry trends, funding opportunities, and best practices in bid writing.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Bid Writer or in a similar role, preferably within the enforcement or public sector.
* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
* Strong research and analytical skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software.
* Strong organisational and project management skills.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, English, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
