Leadership opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor at a consultancy in South Manchester Your new company You will be working for a multi-disciplinary consultancy based in South Manchester. The team predominantly work on education sector projects which range from a £200k roof replacement to £10 million new build. They work closely with some charities, delivering new build and refurbishment projects on care homes etc.
Your new role The consultancy has an established Building Surveying team that currently service any Quantity Surveying work. The firm are keen to recruit an experienced QS to take ownership of the work and build their own team. In this role you will be involved at all stages of the project, from initial estimates and budgets, through to delivering pre- and post-contract work.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced quantity surveyor who is keen to progress and gain more responsibility and management experience within an established surveying practice. The firm has a strong pipeline of work, so the candidate is not required to lead on any business development activities. What you'll need to succeed You will be an experienced quantity surveyor with the confidence to work autonomously and mentor graduate quantity surveyors.
You will have a B.Sc. in quantity surveying You will have pre and post contract experience.
