Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all site piping execution by planning, managing, and coordinating construction, commissioning, pre-operation strategies, and daily activities.
* Provide overall technical direction to the piping construction team.
* Coordinate project execution and planning with relevant parties, departments, and agencies.
* Ensure site document control procedures are followed, and all latest revision piping documents are received, filed, and distributed to concerned parties.
* Review and ensure sub-contractors' detailed overall piping planning, schedules, and manning levels align with company expectations.
* Attend relevant piping weekly/monthly meetings with sub-contractors, third parties, clients, and communicate project requirements and concerns.
* Prepare and issue piping weekly/monthly reports and forecasts, including summaries of progress, manning requirements, and recommendations.
* Ensure all relevant piping construction milestone dates are achieved as per schedule.
* Review and ensure all piping engineering deliverables are received in line with forecast schedules.
* Ensure sub-contractor’s piping procedures and method statements are acceptable and issued to relevant parties.
* Coordinate site piping personnel and ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities.
* Assign and organize required site piping personnel to ensure sub-contractors and vendors complete all piping construction activities, complying with company procedures and quality and HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, Environment) requirements.
* Review site piping personnel daily reports for progress, concerns, and mitigations.
* Ensure piping material delivery aligns with forecast schedule and expedite any shortfalls.
* Ensure sub-contractors have sufficient work front and provide mitigation plans for delayed piping deliverables.
* Ensure vendors are mobilized when required as per schedule.
* Ensure all piping systems are completed as per priorities and commissioning sequence.
* Prepare and issue detailed work packs for integration and carryover works.
Qualifications:
* Technical College Diploma or Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8-15 years' experience in the discipline in the offshore industry, with particular emphasis on FPSO.
* Proven experience in piping supervision, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
* Strong understanding of piping construction and fabrication processes.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interface with other disciplines.
* Familiarity with contractual documentation and ensuring planning and execution comply with contractual requirements.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to guide and communicate with multinational personnel and various levels of the workforce and vendors.
