Description Intensive Support Worker | 7564 | permanent contract | 18.5 hours per week | £30,559 to £32,654 per annum pro rata | Grade G | Dereham As an Intensive Support Worker, you will undertake targeted, evidence-based and timely/time-limited interventions with families, working alongside Social Workers and Family Practitioners to promote safety and well-being and prevent escalation of need. You will need to be able to work with parents/carers/children and their networks to build positive working relationships to promote engagement and positive change. You will be required to role model and support with advice and guidance around parenting and behaviour and work with other professionals as needed in order to create positive outcomes for families. As well as working with parents/carers you will also work with young people individually to enable the personal, social and educational growth, social inclusion, reduction in anti-social behaviour and improve access to services. You are required to travel as part of your duties, the majority of which will involve lone working with children, young people and families in their homes and community. You will be responsible for your own travel arrangements, and these must be carried out in the most effective and efficient way to perform your job. You may also be required to transport children and babies in your own vehicle.
