Rise Recruitment Solutions are actively seeking a proactive Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join our customers Conveyancing department, responsible for managing a full caseload under the guidance of the team leader. Established in 1980 our customer specialises in delivering specialised legal advice across a range of areas including Court of Protection, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Medical Negligence, Personal Injury, Personal Injury Trusts, Probate, Residential Conveyancing, and Wills. What We Offer: Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on Experience Work Environment: Onsite Location: LU7, Bedfordshire Hours: 9.00am – 5.30pm, Monday – Friday Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package Experience: 4 years PQE Role Responsibilities: Sale Transactions: Drafting contract packs, addressing enquiries from the Buyer’s solicitors, preparing files for contract exchange, and managing pre-completion and post-completion tasks such as obtaining redemption statements and preparing completion statements, along with handling restrictions removal. Purchase Transactions: Conducting searches, reviewing titles, raising enquiries on contract papers, drafting contract reports, and managing pre-completion and post-completion processes, including registration formalities and registering restrictions as necessary. Transfer of Equity: Drafting TR1 forms, managing registration formalities, and liaising with lenders when required. Client Correspondence: Engaging with clients and all related parties through phone, email, or face-to-face meetings, ensuring seamless file progression and day-to-day management. Support Duties: Assisting other fee earners with file processing, specific tasks, and projects as needed, and maintaining the department’s document management structure. Compliance: Ensuring adherence to firm procedures, policies, and office manuals, including policies on employment, anti-money laundering, IT usage, health and safety, and client care. Required Skills & Competencies: Proficient in IT, including email, Word, Excel, and Iris. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with high accuracy and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills with confidence in dealing with diverse individuals via telephone, email, or in person. Capability to thrive under pressure in a busy office environment, prioritizing effectively among competing tasks. Required Experience, Qualifications & Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of property buying, selling processes, and transfers of equity. Knowledge of Court of Protection and Trust matters is advantageous. Minimum of four years' experience in a conveyancing department, with significant client contact and independent caseload management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word). Familiarity with case management systems.
