Caritas Futures are supporting a well-known national Children and Young People Charity with a Substance Misuse Outreach Worker role based in Torbay.
The Substance Misuse Outreach Worker role would suit applicants who have worked in a similar post previously; however, transferable skills will also be considered.
Experience:
1. Paid experience working with survivors of substance misuse, modern-day slavery, women fleeing domestic and/or sexual violence, homelessness, mental health, domestic violence, etc.
2. Working with high-risk clients
3. Risk and needs assessment
4. Support and safety planning
5. Multi-agency work
Due to the nature of the work, the following are essential:
1. DBS on update service or one will be conducted on your behalf
2. On-site working to best support clients
3. A driving licence, access to a car, and willingness to travel across the region
