The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fitter with HGV Trailer/Plant knowledge and experience to join our friendly team based at our Yorkshire Depot in Hull. Starting as soon as possible, this is a full-time, permanent role with 40 hours per week basic contract position, working Monday to Friday and reporting to the Workshop/Transport Manager. There are also plenty of opportunities for regular overtime including weekends. This is a vast and varied role. The role of Plant/Hydraulics Fitter is essential to our business and a key part of the Industrial Services team. The job involves general workshop duties of heavy plant and HGV vehicles.
About You
The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance of LGV Trailer, site plant equipment, vehicle plant and associated accessories. Able to work as part of a team. A good communicator with a professional attitude when dealing with members of staff, clients, customers and suppliers. Good knowledge of maintenance systems is essential, as is the ability to organise and plan in a logical manner. A positive and proactive approach to safety is a given.

Benefits:
Starting rate £14.56 per hour - time and half (£21.84 p/h) paid after eight hours and Saturdays and double time (£29.12 per hour) for Sundays/Bank holidays. Our fitters can earn average annual salary between £30,284 - £38,000 + per annum.
