This post is required to continue to develop and support the department for significant cardiac and thoracic surgical workload. The on-call consultant rota will be undertaken in conjunction with other consultant colleagues to provide cover for emergency work including transplantation in cardiothoracic theatres, cardiology catheter labs and cardiac critical care areas.
