Job Title: Conveyancing Legal Secretary
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £12.91 per hour over 35 hours per week
Hours: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (Office Based)
About the Role:
We are seeking a Conveyancing Secretary to join our clients team and provide essential administrative support to the conveyancing department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced legal secretary looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting solicitors with administrative tasks related to residential property transactions.
Managing correspondence, emails, and telephone calls, ensuring prompt client communication.
Drafting legal documents, including contracts and completion statements.
Organising and maintaining accurate client files and documentation.
Liaising with clients, estate agents, and other third parties.
Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining positive client relationships.
Handling general office duties, including photocopying, scanning, and filing, as well as occasional reception cover.
What We're Looking For:
Experience as a Legal Secretary or Conveyancing Secretary, ideally in residential conveyancing.
Proficiency in legal case management systems and Microsoft Office.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of conveyancing procedures and terminology is desirable.
