The Role
Are you an experienced leader in property services with a passion for ensuring compliance and safety? Join the Council's dynamic Property Services team as the Property Services Compliance Manager! You'll oversee a dedicated team and manage compliance across their corporate and commercial property portfolio. Your role will include maintaining safety standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading risk management efforts, all while fostering a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors.

Skills And Qualifications
1. Educated to bachelor's degree level in a relevant field such as Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
2. NEBOSH Diploma
3. Chartered Membership with IOSH (CMIOSH), or working towards
4. Significant experience in health and safety roles, particularly in maintenance and engineering.
5. Proven leadership and management experience, as a senior manager would be responsible for leading a team of professionals.
6. An in-depth understanding of UK health and safety legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work Act, and relevant industry standards is essential.
7. Strong communication and leadership skills are crucial for a senior manager in this field. They need to effectively communicate safety policies and procedures to all levels of the organisation and lead safety initiatives.
8. Evidence of staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices through CPD.
9. The ability to analyse compliance data, assess risks, and develop strategies to ensure adherence to UK regulations is important.
10. Strong problem-solving skills are beneficial for addressing compliance issues and finding effective solutions.
11. Attention to detail is crucial when maintaining records and documentation to demonstrate compliance.
12. A commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and integrity is essential in this compliance role.
13. Proficiency in using compliance software, data analysis tools, and standard office software.
