Nursery: Bright Horizons Potten End Day Nursery and Preschool
Salary: Starting from£24,270.90 - £25,200per annum (Full time equivalentdependent on qualification/s and experience)
Location: Hemel Hempstead, HP1
We are looking for a part time, Level 3 qualified Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Potten End Day Nursery and Preschool, situated in Hemel Hempstead. This role is working Monday to Friday 10am2-pm (or similar hours).
The beautiful 92-place setting is based in converted barns, with spacious and well-resourced rooms, as well as a fantastic large garden area complete with play equipment, and animals! The nursery is Ofsted rated 'Good' and benefits from plenty of onsite parking.

What you’ll be doing
10. Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.
11. Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships
12. Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding
13. Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment
What we’re looking for
14. Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
15. Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar)
16. Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
17. Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
18. Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
19. Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
