We're working with a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of robust, secure, and stylish hardtops and pick-up accessories. They are an OEM-approved supplier for major brands, designing accessories to complement each vehicle model. Their extensive UK facilities house R&D, production, warehousing, and customer service. With over 25,000 products and a strong stock management system, they distribute worldwide. They prioritize excellent customer service for both individual and fleet clients, including bespoke requests. They also have a dedicated international team providing support to overseas customers.
Main Tasks:
* To increase the company's sales and long-term prospects to existing and potential customers by promoting our products and services through telephone calls, e-marketing and minimal face-to-face selling. The sales are often repeat business, and your challenge will be to sell an increased product range to these customers.
* Researching the target market and finding companies to target.
* Working to monthly sales and revenue targets as set by the Sales Manager.
* Progressing towards activity targets and KPIs set by the Sales Manager.
* Updating the CRM and inputting customer information.
* Ensuring that the level of customer satisfaction is high.
* Processing customerenquiries and orders in accordance with the company's business system. Providing sound technical and styling advice to customers.
* Taking an active role in resolving customers' queries and complaints in line with company policy. At all times maintaining the company's ethos on customer satisfaction, without allowing customers to take undue advantage.
* Taking a proactive role in gathering market intelligence and reporting this information to management.
Person Specification:
* To be a team player with previous experience in a sales role.
* A self-motivated and organised individual.
* A track record of achieving KPIs and targets.
* You will need to be able to build rapport quickly.You will be prospecting new and existing customers and new contacts via telephone.You must be comfortable asking open questions that allow you to take control of the conversation, whilst allowing the customer to talk, to enable you to obtain the facts required to progress towards a sale.
* A driven and ambitious individual with a strong desire to succeed.
* Experience within the automotive sector is desirable. You don't have to be an expert; however, you will need to know the basics of truck anatomy.
* You must enjoy generating profit.
* As we sell to customers all over the UK, you will need to be empathetic and have good listening skills.
