We are outstanding, you can be too. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Work Experience Assistant to join our vibrant education team here at Portland College. This varied role will involve liaising with various members of the Education team to organise, coordinate and monitor internal work experience placements for our learners; support and work with specialist learning support staff to ensure the smooth running of placements; and to monitor compliance in line with the college Health and Safety policy. The successful candidate will have experience of assessing health and safety compliance in the workplace, as well as working with individuals who have SEND. To succeed in this role, you will be an outstanding team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will have a strong commitment to supporting the needs of and contributing towards positive opportunities for our learners. You will work within a strong and supportive education team, along with a variety of staff members across the college.
