Job overview
Our Administration Co-Ordinator will support the Clinical Health Psychology Service as an Administration Co-ordinator. They will work as part of the Admin Team providing administrative support to the Clinical Staff whilst complying with departmental administration processes. They will be required to be flexible at times to provide cover across the Clinical Health Psychology Service during staff absences.
Main duties of the job
1. Provide high quality secretarial, administrative and clerical service to ensure an effective and efficient service in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
2. Support the Service Improvement Lead, Clinical Health Psychology Lead Administrator to undertake change management.
3. Ensure that patients are treated with courtesy, dignity and respect, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
4. Maintain clinics on a daily basis ensuring patient files are kept up to date throughout their treatment within the Service.
5. Provide additional administration support to other areas at times of sickness/annual leave as required.
The Clinical Health Psychology Service at Torbay Hospital have been working on clarifying our position as a Lifespan service and thinking more about how we implement new ways of working across the board. You will therefore be joining us at an exciting time of change as we begin to take forward these ideas to the wider organisation.
You will be working within the Administration Team and work closely with the Clinical Staff maintaining their clinics and patient administration from the point of a referral being received through the patient journey until they are discharged from the service. We have a mix of Psychological professions within the Service working from Torbay Hospital Site and Castle Circus Health Centre.
The Lead Administrators manage the day-to-day requirements between the Team and assist with prioritising. The Post-Holder will receive line management and supervision from the Neuropsychology Lead Administrator and all identified training on a regular basis. You may be asked to cover additional administration duties at times of colleagues’ annual leave or sickness across the Service.

* Evidence of English & Maths at GCSE level or equivalent.
* Evidence of RSA 111 or equivalent.
* Evidence of previous admin experience within NHS.
