Are you an experienced and enthusiastic professional with a working and operational knowledge of Business Support? Wandsworth Sensory Support Service (WSSS) offers high-quality services to children and young people (aged between 0 - 25 years) as well as their families, who are affected by sensory impairment (deafness and / or vision impairment) across Wandsworth.

About the role
When joining us as a Business Support Officer you will hit the ground running and support a busy team ensuring high quality business support is delivered across services within Wandsworth Sensory Support Service, Children's Services Division and Wandsworth Local Authority.
You will provide general administrative support for the whole WSSS caseload and work in a confidential, flexible, and responsive manner under the guidance of the Head of Service.
You will be responsible for the development of our short breaks offer and will apply your past experience of developing and coordinating events.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Previous experience of working in a busy administrative environment at a similar level.
* Strong customer service skills with excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
* Ability to self-start but also integrate within existing teams.
* Excellent attention to detail, and confidence of using Microsoft 365, tools, databases, live spreadsheets and create / post social media content.
* Ability to promote the service and its activities in person and on appropriate social media platforms.
* Ability to develop and coordinate varied activities as part of the Short Breaks program.
