The role: Junior 3D Creative Designer The location: Leicester Job type: Full time/Permanent Salary Circa £28k Our Leicester based POS clients have a full time and permanent vacancy for a junior Creative 3D Designer to join their team. The successful candidate will ideally have some working experience in POS however a 3D design graduate with a real passion to learn would also be considered. Working as part of a larger team and reporting to the Design Manager they will be given the opportunity to learn and develop the skills that they have with support from the Design Manager and team. The role Taking design briefs from Senior Design team, Account Managers and on occasion directly from clients. Conducting research, relevant to the brief, taking into account the brand, customer, marketplace and competitor landscape. Generating creative concept design ideas through sketching, CAD modelling & visualisation. Attending internal design review meetings to present, discuss, and take feedback on your designs. Proactively liaising with internal departments to ensure designs can be achieved as closely to the conceived designs as possible. The candidate Proficient in 3DS Max/V-Ray and Adobe CC is preferred; SketchUp experience would be an advantage Passionate about design, both professionally and personally An interest in marketing and brand communications and design trends A desire to learn and able to take direction from senior team members. Naturally curious and open-minded, with an ability to think creatively and a willingness to question convention. An appreciation for sustainability in the design process. Collaborates well with a team, understands the points of others A calm positive attitude & approach. Hardworking, with a strong work ethic; willing to deal with new challenges.
