FinOps Analyst

We are seeking a talented FinOps Analyst to join our well-established Cloud team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our mission of enhancing cost efficiency while driving meaningful change.
As a FinOps Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering insightful analysis and reporting on Cloud costs, enabling our IT division to make informed decisions that maximize infrastructure spending. You will educate stakeholders on the principles of FinOps, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and cost efficiency within our Cloud environment.
You'll also be responsible for ensuring that our Cloud financial data adheres to both internal policies and external regulatory standards, safeguarding the integrity of our financial information through robust processes and controls.
About you
Essential skills:
1. Experience in FinOps, Cloud financial management, or cost analysis within a Cloud environment.
2. Strong understanding of Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their associated billing models.
3. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
4. Familiarity with financial controls and governance processes, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
5. A proactive mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for Cost Optimisation and process improvements.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across the business.
