Role - ServiceNow Tester

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Tester with a strong background in manual testing and test automation, specifically within ServiceNow ITSM and Automate Pro (Automation) frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Selenium, solid knowledge of ITSM module testing, and a proven track record in the financial sector, preferably with organizations like Barclays or other UK banks.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for the ServiceNow ITSM module and Automate Pro.
* Perform manual testing of ServiceNow workflows and ensure alignment with business requirements.
* Design and implement automated test scripts using Selenium for ServiceNow applications.
* Collaborate with ServiceNow developers, ITSM leads, and stakeholders to identify and remediate defects.
* Validate configurations and customizations of ServiceNow ITSM and Automate Pro solutions.
* Participate in end-to-end testing processes, including regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing.
* Ensure compliance with industry best practices and financial regulatory requirements.
* Generate comprehensive test documentation, including defect reports and testing summaries.
Required Skills and Experience
* ServiceNow ITSM Expertise: In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM workflows and processes.
* Automate Pro (Automation): Familiarity with creating and remediating Automate Pro solutions.
* Selenium Proficiency: Proven experience in writing and executing automated test scripts.
* Manual Testing: Strong manual testing expertise, with a focus on ServiceNow modules.
* Financial Sector Experience: Prior work experience with Barclays or other UK banks/financial institutions.
* Defect Management: Expertise in identifying, logging, and remediating defects efficiently.
* Testing Tools: Proficiency in using test management tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar platforms.
* Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* Certification in ServiceNow Certified Application Specialist – ITSM or equivalent.
* Experience with other ServiceNow modules or tools within financial institutions.
* Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards within UK banking.
