Your new role As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and providing strategic guidance for financial decisions. This role is key to understanding business performance and providing financial insight. You will manage a team of finance professionals and work closely with senior leadership to ensure financial health and support business growth. In the position you will be using your knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards as well as using your skills in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting. If you enjoy deploying your technology skill set as well, then there will be project work relating to ERP's to get involved in as well. If you are a senior financial professional who likes a varied role where you can make an impact on a business, this should be the job for you. You will also be managing a team of finance professionals at various levels. This is a good position to go into, if you enjoy coaching, developing and mentoring finance staff across a broad range of experience. In this position you will also be able to play a part in developing the finance business partnering proposition. What you'll need to succeed Qualified with either ACA, ACCA or CIMA Prior experience at a Head of Finance, Financial Controller or Finance Manger Level Experience of developing finance systems, reporting / ERP Ideally, you will have experience gained in the manufacturing sector.
