Learning Support Assistants
Multiple roles available in a Specialist Provision based in Wythenshawe (M22). These jobs are available on a full-time and part-time basis, for emergency cover, absences (short-term and long-term) as well as gaps in staffing.
* School experience is not required to be successful in these roles.
A Specialist School in Wythenshawe (M22) requires multiple Learning Support Assistants with varied start dates. The school requires staff on short-term and long-term contracts which could be either on a full-time or a part-time basis. The school caters for pupils aged 4-16 with MLD, ASC, SCLN, VI and HI. They are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference with children in Specialist settings. Within these roles, as a Learning Support Assistant, you will be expected to create positive relationships with the pupils and encourage positive choices and behaviour. You will be expected to provide general support within the classes and work collaboratively with other LSAs and the class teachers.
* Full-time positions (Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm).
* Required to commit to the school on a long-term basis.
* Interested in securing a permanent role.
* Part-time and/or full-time positions (Varied/ ad-hoc days - 8.30am-1.00pm/ 12.00pm-3.30pm/ 8.30am-3.30pm).
* Would be covering emergency/ scheduled absences.
The school is keen to consider a variety of staff in terms of experience. You are likely to be successful whether you are an experienced SEN support assistant, a graduate looking for experience in specialist provision, or have current or prior experience as a support/care worker. Ideally, if you have supported individuals with additional needs, that would be desirable; however, this is not essential to be successful.
