Job Title: Band 6 Paediatric Physiotherapist – Children’s Therapy Location: Preston Duration: Ongoing Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Start Date: Full-time, Fixed-term (01/08/2024 - 31/10/2024) About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team at Leyland House in Preston. This position is available now and the pay rate for this role will be up to £27 per hour. Main responsibilities of this Physiotherapy vacancy: Caseload Management: Manage a community-based caseload of children with varied conditions including musculoskeletal (MSK), neuromuscular, developmental, and coordination difficulties. Service Delivery: Provide physiotherapy services in various settings including clinics, schools, and home visits. Assessment and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to meet the specific needs of each child. Collaboration: Work closely with the multidisciplinary team, including Team Coordinator and Clinical Lead, to ensure cohesive and effective service delivery. Support and Education: Offer guidance and support to families and caregivers and provide education on managing conditions and promoting physical development. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Essential requirements of this Physiotherapy vacancy: HCPC Registration: Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Right to Work in the UK: Must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom. Specialist Knowledge: Understanding and experience within the specialist area of paediatric physiotherapy. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with children, families, and the multidisciplinary team. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage a varied caseload and maintain accurate documentation.
