Museum Assistant – Admin (Casual)

The Purpose:
Old Trafford Tour & Museum are responsible for delivering world-class tours and experiences that immerse visitors in the rich history and heritage of Manchester United Football Club, creating unforgettable memories for fans from around the globe.
We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Admin Assistant to join our dynamic team at Old Trafford Tour & Museum. This role is crucial in supporting the smooth and efficient running of our daily operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including rota management, responding to customer enquiries, and data entry.
The Role:
* Assist in the creation, management, and distribution of staff rotas
* Ensure accurate recording of staff attendance, leave, and any other relevant information
* Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via email, phone and face-to-face
* Provide accurate and helpful information regarding tours, tickets, and other services
* Maintain accurate records of all administrative activities
* Assist with general office administration tasks
Any other duties as reasonably requested by a manager.
The Person:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Experience with customer service in a fast-paced environment
* Experience with rota management
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
