We are one of the UK's leading suppliers of Waterproofing solutions, predominantly for flat roofs and we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our growing team in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC brake presses and guillotines, although we encourage applications from individuals with a strong desire to learn and grow in this area. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and production processes.
This is a permanent position offering an annual salary of £25 - 28,000.00.
Working hours: 39 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm / Fri 9.00am - 4.00pm
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate CNC brake presses and guillotines to produce high-quality components as required
* Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and finished products
* Ensure that all operations are conducted safely and in compliance with company policies and regulations
* Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock management
* Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications and standards
* Receive, check and make up orders as per Customers' requirements
* Assist customers with the handling/loading of consignments and documentation
* Keep the warehouse and work areas organised and clean
* Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
Essential:
* Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative is preferred, but not mandatory
* Experience operating CNC brake presses and guillotines is highly desirable
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills and a positive attitude
* Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting
Desired:
* Relevant training or certifications in CNC operation or machining
* Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
