East Cleveland Primary Care Network is seeking to appoint a Business Support Manager to work closely with the Digital Transformation Programme Manager in order to support delivery of the requirements of the PCN DES contract.
The successful candidate will be based at one of the PCN member practices although there will be a requirement to travel to other practices across the Network which includes Brotton, Guisborough, Loftus and Skelton-in-Cleveland.
The role is offered on a full-time basis although part-time, 30+ hours per week would be considered for the right candidate.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Digital Transformation Programme Manager in the day-to-day running of the PCN office and delivery of the contract.
This role would suit an individual who is familiar with working in a busy office environment, who is able to multi-task and use their own initiative to manage competing priorities.
East Cleveland PCN supports personal development and appropriate training for this role will be given.

Job responsibilities
PRIMARY DUTIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
1. Provide high quality general and financial support to the PCN, coordinating financial processes including invoicing and salaries.
2. Act as a point of contact for the organisation, communicating effectively and dealing with telephone calls, correspondence and emails.
3. Develop strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
4. Work closely with the PCN Digital Transformation Programme Manager to support the implementation and coordination of PCN DES requirements.
5. Diary management: arranging appointments and meetings as required.
6. Organise, coordinate and facilitate various meetings & events on behalf of the PCN including booking venues, preparing papers, taking minutes and recording actions; from time to time you may be required to chair meetings.
7. Represent the organisation at various events as appropriate.
8. Support PCN members and partner organisations, promptly responding to requests for information, advice and support, escalating as appropriate.
9. Production of documentation including presentations, policies, procedures and reports using Microsoft Office software.
10. Assist in collating and managing statistical information on behalf of the PCN via clinical systems e.g., GPad and SysmOne.
11. Support the process for recruitment, induction and training of new employees.
12. Support with project implementation and coordination.
13. Undertake desktop research as required.
14. Undertake data collection, analysis and reporting as appropriate.
15. Organise, coordinate and facilitate various events on behalf of the PCN.
16. Coordinate HR and H&S functions in conjunction with Digital Transformation Programme Manager.
17. Maintain and update PCN website and electronic file structure.
18. Ability to use own initiative and work autonomously within specific parameters to meet pre-arranged deadlines.
19. Act as team leader and deputise for Digital Transformation Programme Manager as required.
20. Carry out any other appropriate duties as required.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
* IT qualification and competent in Microsoft Office packages especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
* Experience of project coordination.
* Experience of creating processes to organise and monitor tasks, ensuring timely completion within deadlines.
* Knowledge and understanding of Primary Care Network arrangements and their contribution to the NHS 10-Year Plan.
* Knowledge and experience of using clinical systems including SystmOne.
Experience
* Previous experience of working in the NHS, specifically in Primary Care and with healthcare professionals (including unpaid work).
* Previous experience of working as a senior administrator/PA.
* Previous experience of working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
* Experience of collating, analysing and presenting data.
* Previous experience of coordinating time-limited projects.
* Previous finance experience e.g., coordinating, monitoring and paying invoices etc.
* Previous experience of working in a management role.

£28,022 to £31,200 a year depending upon experience.
